Yaşasin Rose (pronouned ‘Yasha Sihn’)was produced with the “traditional method” (méthode traditionnelle) that is commonly used to make top quality champagne and sparkling wines. With this method, wines are produced with the secondary fermentation directly in the bottle. As a result, the complexity of the bubbles, or effervescence, is more pronounced and each bottle is closely monitored and processed throughout each stage of the production process.
This is the first Rose natural sparkling wine to come from Turkey and is made from the native grape, Kalecik Karası, harvested at Vinkara’s vineyards in the Kalecik region.
Yaşasin Rose has a pale salmon colour with golden reflections. Periage is fine and consistent. A fresh, fruity and flowery nose is enriched with citrus and bread crust notes. It is a well-balanced, sparkling wine with good freshness. Yaşasin Rose has a long finish with notes of fresh apricot and grapefruits.
