DOLUCA TUGRA OKUZGOZU
The Öküzgözü grapes – cultivated in our vineyards in Denizli Region with a low yield management program- were harvested in early October. This wine is remarkable with its balanced, smooth and medium-bodied structure. This wine was matured – 5 months sur lie and 7 months without lees- a total of 12 months in 70% French and 30% American oak.
- Color: Deep ruby or garnet.
- Nose: Expressive and fruity with pronounced aromas of plum, dark cherry, raspberry, and pomegranate, complemented by secondary notes of sweet vanilla, tobacco, and baking spices (cloves, cardamom, and black pepper).
- Palate: Juicy and vibrant on the entry. Strong, crispy acidity is expertly balanced by soft tannins and rich, meaty dark fruit flavors.
- Finish: Smooth and subtly peppery, with lingering notes of dark cherry and sweet oak.
